Sleeping Sun

This is one of my favourite Nightwish's songs ever. I love it so much. I love the lyrics . I nearly cried when I heard it for a first time. Vocals and music are pretty amazing too. I prefer 2005 version.

I hadn't noticed it when I bought Oceanborn,when I heard 2005 version I realized how beautiful song is...

I like the 2nd verison better than the first. Its one of my favorite Nightwish songs.

I really love this song.It`s one of my all time`s favorites.The lyrics are so..emotional.Tuomas did a great job,aswell Tarja singing it,i don`t know which version i preffer the most,but in 2005 one her voice sounds more versatille,but in the old one sounds more operatic so it`s hard 2 decide.But anyway this song is pure gold best ballad ever.

For me the Islander is best ballad but SS deserves great second place

I prefer the 2005 version. I dont really know why I just do. And it has Marco playing on it so thats always good

It's such a beautiful song. The lyrics are so haunting, I love it. I actually prefer Anette's version of it. Rock Werchter 2008 is just the most amazing preformance of it.

I love the original music video so the original version is defs my favorite, but I love the EoaE version too.

Sleeping Sun isn't one of my favorites. I don't know why it's not, I just don't ever specifically put it on. I'll listen when the song comes on though. I do prefer the original to the 2005 version though.
