Re: Nightwish return to England
So that's next year then? Why so long away, why have they planned this so far ahead? Do you think they'll have another ablum out by then?
Re: Nightwish return to England
I doubt it, Tuomas finds it difficult to write on the road and they do have this two year tour going on.
Re: Nightwish return to England
Yep, it'll be pretty much the same stuff although they do change the songs over the course of a tour so the set list will be a little bit different.

Re: Nightwish return to England
I asked my Dad and he said:
You're not allowed to go on your own. I'm not going with you even if you buy the tickets and train fare. No you can't go with a friend or their parents. I don't like Nightwish.
And all I asked was can I go to see Nightwish play live?

Yes, i think they overdo it to be honest. They could do with a reasonable break just to recharge the batterys. They must spend a few gigs going through the motions.
I'm lucky enough to speak to Anette online sometimes and she said it's just "work, work, work". I'd have thought they might have gone a bit easier on her as they really don't want to piss off another singer!!

Yeah i agree, especially as she's not really used to it yet is she?
Re: Nightwish return to England
Saw them at Bloodstock on Sunday night, what a spectacle! Flames everywhere, fireworks, and streamers flying from the roof and covering the audience!
They had a couple of technical problems and were disgracely told to cut the set short due to problems with timekeeping onstage earier but it was still great. Brixton will be fantastic, tickets ordered!

Re: Nightwish return to England
I wasn't allowed to see them at Bloodstock but I'm hoping to be able to at Brixton, I saw them at Birmingham Carling Academy back in March and I really want to see them again on this tour. I just hope Brixton isn't as scary as it's reputation leads me to believe.

Re: Nightwish return to England
Don't worry about Brixton. I go to gigs there all the time and have never seen any problems. When there is a gig there it is so busy that nobody would do anything i think.
When you leave the Brixton underground station turn right and it's only about 150-200 yards down the road on the left so you're not walking the streets there for too long.
