I wish she'd stop doing them.

Poison, Smells Like Teen Spirit... frikkin travesties I tell you. Everything about those songs is ruined when she sings them, especially SLTS! Nirvanna was grunge, the big fuck you to everything... therefore a classical can't sing it. Ever.

I like her Posion.

Aside from that I don't really like the other songs she has sung. I'm not really offended by them since I think it wasn't necesarily her idea to sing all of them.

I do not like SLTS. Maybe if it was heavier...it would be better.

I love Poison. I hated it at first, thought she'd completely ruined the song because I love that song so so much. It's a classic. But the more I've listened to it, I just love it.

And I must be the only person who love Smells Like Teen Spirit. The originals overrated anyway Nirvana fitted for their time and they were amazing then but now all these kids jump on the Nirvana band wagon. Yeah i love it, I love Tarja's voice on anything, I could listen to her all day so I'm pretty biased.

I think everyone is making too much of a deal out of SLTS. Correct me if I'm wonr but didn't she sing it once at a fashion show? I mean come on...she didn't record it or perform it at her own shows or anything.

I think the title of this thread should have been "Tarja's Covers" not Tarja Covers...the latter suggests that someone is covering a song by Tarja...as this guy did...

That's a pretty good cover Never heard anyone covering Tarja before.

Blah, I'm not a huge fan of that guy covering IWA. But then again I will never like anyone singing any song I once heard Tarja singing...
