I dont know because I'm not a part of the band so I dunno how was the real situation between them, I just think it was not nice to show it with a public letter, it would be better juts saying they get part away from Tarja just because band's divergences, something like that Razz

I`m undicided Razz

I don`t know they guys very much and I don`t know how was Tarja acting so...i can`t have a serious opinion Laughing

.maybe Tarja was acting like a "diva"and she was like "I`m the queen of NW!"but that`s too hilarious so i don`t think that Laughing

.On the other hand i think Marcelo has to do with this,but can`t find a certain reason Rolling Eyes

And then is also the fan-made love story between Tuomas and tarja,and maybe Tuomas was so sad and uhappy that Tarja married marcelo so he wanted to fire her.
Anyway,NW are happier with Anette,and tarja is happier solo so it`s the end of story Razz

I`m a fan of both Tarj and Anette and i don`t have nothing against them Wink

I don't think that Tarja is guilty.Is normal when you have a husband to want to live for him.
Her voice is beautiful.And without Tarja Nightwish isn't the same.I like more Tarja that Anette.
And the boys....weren't right when maked this adjutication.

Yes.
Tarja was acting different towards the guys, especially with that prick of a husband she has. The band was unhappy with her! If Tarja left without the band firing her first I'm sure most people would be calling her a bitch now.

As for the comparisons with Anette, I mean wtf? Anette is nothing like Tarja. She has her own style and voice so give it a rest.

I just have to say that if NW are happy with Anette I'm happy.
There's no way they would be happy if Tarja stayed, neither the guys neither her. The problem came since a lot of years ago so I'm surprised the band continued. There's no way you can get on well with a diva who wants only money and stuff, sorry but that's the truth I'm no attacking Tarja, seriously I've worked with divas and now I understand Toumas point.

I Think it was Tarja's time, she wanted a solo career and now she has it and the two parts seem happy.

So my conclusion is that both parts are better and healed Smile

October 05 so nearly 4 years. I dont think it really bothered me too much and I was quite a big fan then. Just gutted me and Steph never went to the show in Brum in 05.

Yeah - I think that's all that bothers me at all, that I won't ever see NW with Tarja. Cause I probably won't go see just Tarja ever.

Maybe one day she'll come to England to do a proper tour not one off shows.

I would have liked to see her with Nightwish though.

I still cry everyday because Tarja is not the vocalist of Nightwish anymore...four years mean absolutely nothing to me. I won't stop mourning until they bring her back.

Let's weight the pro and cons of Nw without Tarja

Pro
Tarja and Nw both releasing a cd means two cds for me to love
Tarja is happier now
Nw came to Chicago, which never happened with Tarja and I didn't even have to suffer through Nemo <---- total win there even though I do actually like many live recordings of Nettie's Nemo so I make absolutely no sense
Then Tarja came to Chicago, which made my life and guess what...I got to hear Tarja sing Nemo, which made me really happy since I once thought I would never hear Tarja (or anyone for that matter) sing it live
And most importally I have gotten NEAR INFINITE entertainment from laughing at Nw and all its drama and discussing/ conspiring about various Nw related things

Cons
People were hurt
People won't get to see Tarja sing with Tuo and boys playing (which at this point I'm not sure if they'll work together period ever again...that would be sad)
Oh wait Tarja was going to quit Nw anyway, we wouldn't have seen here anyway...

So I'm pretty sure this post justifies Nw firing Tarja...What thread is this even?
