Best songs performed live

I just thought if you've been to Nightwish gig or watched any of their gigs on DVD, which songs you thought were performed best ?


I've been to Nightwish gig once their first concert with Anette. I loved Ever Dream. She was just amazing. And The Poet And The Pendulum was great too From End Of And Era DVD I loved The Phantom Of The Opera, Dark Chest Of Wonders, Wish I Had An Angel, Slaying The Dreamer, Ever Dream and Ghost Love Score most

Wishmaster, Beauty and the beast, The Kinslayer, Dark Chest of Wonders, Planet Hell, Slaying the dreamer and Fantasmic.

Elvenpath, Wishmaster, The Kinslayer, Ghost Love Score, etc.

I saw them on the "Once" world tour with Tarja. My favourites were Nemo, Phantom of the Opera, The Siren and Highest Hopes.

Wishmaster, Nemo, WIHAA, The Islander, Bye Bye Beautiful, Sahara, oh all of the songs i heard last night will do!

Having been to the recent gig, I'd say that I enjoyed the following live:

The Poet & The Pendulum, Sahara, Nemo, Amaranth, Wishmaster, The Islander, Last Of The Wilds.

Having watched the DVD's of the Tarja live performances, I really like:

Phantom Of The Opera, Ghost Love Score, Beauty & The Beast, Wanderlust, The Siren, Wishmaster, The Kinslayer, Nemo.

GLS makes me cry,live it so beautiful
I wish they play it with live orchestra once...just like another band(which anyone knows which)has done

Everything on From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era. xD

My personal favorites are Wish I Had an Angel and The Kinslayer! Especially The Kinslayer.

Now I choosed 2 which are the best.

Nemo, Sahara, Whoever Brings the Night, She is my Sin, The Poet and the Pendulum etc.

At the moment Wish I Had An Angel,Romanticide,TPATP,Ever Dream and Dark Chest Of Wonders

They were absolutely awesome performed.And I love the pyros and stuff

Well from what I've personally seen I always always really enjoy The Siren. Dark Chest Of Wonders is amazing with the pyro, Nemo to get everyone singing along, Sahara for the HEP HEP's, TPATP because theres so much to it and we have a laugh singing 'Build a home for a cougar', The Islander is so lovely live, Ghost Love Score because you know it's Ghost Love Score!, Dead Boy's Poem for nearly reducing me and Steph to tears and my favourite being Escapist because it meant the world for me to see it live.

And then theres Ever Dream which is so emotional live and Sleeping Sun. Both of which we were robbed of at Bloodstock thanks to At The Gates going over their time
