Once - How do you rate it?

5/5. I was already hooked on Nemo as it was the first song I heard from Nightwish but I also loved the rest of the album.

3/5 I love WIHAA and Nemo plus a few others but not enough to give it a higher rating, musically i would give it a 4 but vocally i'd give it a 2 so i've rounded off to a nice 3

5/5 it's best they have. Songs like Ghost Love Score, Dark Chest Of Wonders and Wish I had An Angel still blow me away Music is super all those choir and orchestra parts are fabolous... Vocally 4 not best vocals Tarja best vocals are in CC IMO. Musically 5. So good....

5/5...love the album as a whole, although a couple of songs like Romanticide and the one sung in Finnish don't really work for me...But, it has my favourite Nightwish song on it in Ghost Love Score, so it gets top marks just for that from me

I love Romanticide. Not so much the song but Emppu's guitar work on it

Because I dont like The Siren, Nemo and Creek Mary's blood.
My favourites songs are: Planet Hell, GLS and Dark Chest of Wonders.

It's a really good album. Ghost Love Score is one of my all time favorite Nightwish songs. Of course, I also love Planet Hell, Nemo, Higher than Hope etc.

Even though there are a few tracks on here that I find rather lack-luster in Nightwish's overall roster (The Siren, the Finnish song, White Night Fantasy, etc), amazing tracks like Ghost Love Score, Nemo, Live To Tell The Tale, and Planet Hell, plus a variety of other memorable songs, give it that score.

Only really that high because I love the first four.
After Planet hell it plummets a bit, don't get me wrong there are a few after Planet hell that are great but the not so great outweighs them.
I really don't like Creek Mary's Blood.

It's all about opinion of course but i really can't see how the likes of "ghost love score" can be called plummeting. I think it's a fantastic album.

4/5. I love many of the songs but the cd was so mainstream sounding.

I'm with you on Creek Mary's Blood. I understand the point of the song and so on but I never caught on to it.

my favorite album.The songs that i like less are White Night Fantasy and Dead Gardens..but they are nice though;)
oh and my faves are GLS,Nemo and DCOW

Not perfect,IMO but every album that has a masterpice such as GLS makes it perfect
