I used to have this song on repeat for hours on end when i first heard it. I love this song, it so catchy and shows some hope amoung all the anger in DPP. As the Amaranth is the 'never fading' flower, theres some hidden hope in the song. It is a bit of a hard one to understand though. I think it was perfect as their first real single from DPP. Catchy and shows off Anette's voice.

Gah, I just had something intelligent to say about the key of the intro and I totally lost it.

I do love this song, the amaranth is a beautiful symbol. I'm torn about getting the flower as a tatoo when I turn 18.

I think this song was a good first single, because when you listen to the lyrics and the music behind Anette you can tell that Nightwish hadn't turned 180 degrees around.

Oh and this is rather unkosher, but when Anette sings "day break" I always hear "date rape". I can't help it. Sounds nothing like day break to me.

^ We're gonna match because the Amaranth's gonna be my second tattoo. it's kind of fitting with Nightwish isn't it 'Never fading' they came back with this as their first single.

It's such a catchy song, I love it. The misheard lyrics is pretty entertaining as well

A lot of people seem to hate Amaranth as it's catchy and more 'poppy' but I love it for that reason. But you know everyone likes to jump on the 'sell out' band wagon.

And the Amaranth video happens to be my favorite.I don't know wh,i just love ity
