Love this track. One of my favourites from the Wishmaster album. It was also brilliant when it was performed on the Once tour.

vocal performance on From wishes to eternity is much impressive

This song will always remind me of Tarja at the concert in 2005. If I had been gay, I would have fallen in love with her over this song! She did a fantastic version of it and the whole place came to life.

I like it. One of the best song on Wishmaster album maybe even the best. Lyrics are good and music is catchy...

The Kinslayer is definitely one of my top Nightwish songs. I've owned Wishmaster for over three years, and listened to that song more than any human could ever imagine , and it NEVER loses its power.

I'm not really that big on the wishmaster stuff, it's a good album with some good songs on it, but i prefer the other albums.

It appears no-one has commented here on what it is about. It was really odd 'cos today someone randomly gave Katie a book and told her to read it and she told me to read the first paragraph of the blurb and it's about the same thing.

I do like the song. The meaning makes me very uneasy with it being about Columbine. A friend did a project on Columbine and I helped her find media about it; The Kinslayer was one of the things I found in the plethora of things written, recorded and drawn about the tragedy.
