Hello! I am a new member!

My name is Katharine, Kate for short. I am S Dudley's mother and proud to be so!

I am a huge Nightwish fan and cannot wait for next Saturday when we go to see them in concert again. I listen to Nightwish more than anyone else although I do like all types of music (except the dance trash and the hip hop rap rubbish!). I love music from the '70's as I am an old fogey! My favourite bands are Nightwish (of course!), Queen, 10cc, Abba, Genesis, Bay City Rollers (!?!) and loads, loads more! I tend to listen to Nightwish mostly though because they are so original and different. I loved it when Tarja was with them and thought that when she left, that would be the end of the group. I was amazed when I heard Annette because I didn't think that anyone would be able to replace Tarja. How wrong can you be? I know that we will never hear classics like Phantom of the Opera (one of my ultimate favourites) performed live again, but what a fantastic voice! I cannot wait to see her live and hear her sing all of those new songs on the new album. She is something else!

Well, I will leave it there for now as I have just been told that I am waffling too much, as usual!
